English 9: (1st, 6th hours)-

CLT: Students will gain knowledge of English 9 expectations and 10 Nouns Activity (due tomorrow)

1. Go over syllabus, review of class expectations

2. Begin 10 Nouns Activity – finish or share with me for class tomorrow

HW = parent information sheet turned in by Friday, 9/6

English 12: (3, 4, 5th hours)

CLT- Students will begin to formulate a definition of college and career readiness.

1. Small group to large group discussion – What is college readiness? What is career readiness?

2. Class time to complete letter from English 11 teacher (due by tomorrow)

3. Turn in parent exam letter and/or parent information sheets if you have them.

HW = information sheet due by Friday 9/6, letter due Thursday
