English 9: (2nd, 6th hours)-

CLT: Students will gain knowledge of SAT-Style essay expectations

1. Review article

2. Go over how to write the essay and begin to outline/write.

3. Goal = complete introduction and at least 1 body paragraph today. (You will complete the rest tomorrow.)

HW = none (find biography in the next 2 weeks)

English 12: (3, 4, 5th hours)

CLT- Students display knowledge of topic outline, gain knowledge of note cards (traditional and digital)

1. Go over note cards – traditional and digital

2. Time to work- topic outline (due by end of class) and note cards (due Friday – 1st set of 25)

3. If you have your ½ sheet for volunteering please turn it in ASAP.

HW = read Conroy novel- discussion Wednesday and quiz Thursday
